This is our guiding principle in conceptualizing Plansform. While we sincerely believe that Indian architecture is rich with talent, unfortunately there is hardly any access to their vast body of work. Today, it is very easy to read about and get inspired by architects from the West, only because they have documented and showcased their work diligently. Plansform aims to set this right for the Indian architecture community by providing a unified platform to enable architects and other design professionals to easily showcase their profiles, portfolio and projects that can inspire architects in the generations to come.

 

There is an urgent need to build a strong online ecosystem for the Indian architecture and design community, that can foster better connections and collaborations, enhance visibility and access to the work of architects and provide easy access to products and services to the architecture professionals. This, we believe, will also give a fillip to the product manufacturers and suppliers to reach out to a well-defined target market, thus enabling them grow their business.

BHARAT SRINIVASAMURTHY

After spending 20 years in the world of enterprise IT in various management roles in companies like Hewlett Packard, VeriFone and Tata Infotech, Bharat decided to take the plunge into the world of startups, which resulted in Plansform, being born.

At Plansform, Bharat handles technology and strategy and with Karthik, dreams of making Plansform the definitive platform for the Indian Architecture and Design community.

A keen sports enthusiast, Bharat has tried his hand at a wide range of sport and loves hiking, travelling and shopping. He is a keen photographer and loves to take his camera along on all his travels.

 

KARTHIK MANI

Architect, musician-in-disguise, a doting dad

Karthik is a certified architect with over 20 years of experience in various genres of architecture. He has worked in architecture and design firms of varying sizes in diverse roles. The last two positions held by him are those of senior architect at KEO international consultant, Kuwait and Senior Principal Architect -HoD design for India at Jurong India Consultants Bangalore.

As a co-founder of Plansform, Karthik manages the operations and business development functions and is our main subject matter expert for all things related to architecture and design.

Karthik has a flair for music and has dabbled in professional theatre as well. His secret hobby is to collect unique musical instruments. Karthik’s love for teaching led him to Mysore, where he taught at the University School of Design.
